TOVP: the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium

This project was predicted by Bhaktivinode Thakur and begun by Srila Prabhupada who laid the foundation stone in the 70s.  In 2007, it was announced that construction was going to begin in Sri Mayapur Dham.  Since then, many devotees have been involved on many different levels to see that this dream becomes a reality.

The last morning we were in Mayapur, SB class was all about the TOVP (the unfinished building in the background).

These are several shots from around Mayapur of the TOVP.  There are people working on it everyday, into the night.  By the time we left, the skeleton of the side domes were completed and the middle dome was beginning to get filled in.
