This was another earlier festival (December actually)--Odon Shasti. It's when Lord Jagannatha is offered new, starch cloth. Everyone celebrated @ the sweet Jagannatha temple in Rajpur. A new murti of Srila Prabhupada was also installed.
We love this temple--it's quiet and peaceful, off the main road. A 20 minute bike ride and you're there...read "The Pastimes of Lord Jagannatha in Rajpur" for modern day pastimes with these amazing deities (available in the SS library!).
