a special Damodarastakam & Rasa Purnima

Hare Krsna everyone!

In the last couple days of Kartik, a friend organized a special Damordarastakam for the kids--they were able to offer a flame to Lord Jagannatha, Subhadra & Baladeva @ the temple in Rajpur!  Then, we were all blessed to honor Their Raja Bhoga (lunch) & my, was there a lot of prasadam!

offering a lamp of love to the Lord
sharing it with everyone else

Nitai & Kunja helping to serve out the feast (note the cool clay pots)

Rasa Purnima is a special event that happened last month where Krsna and the gopis enjoyed another Rasa Dance under the moonlight.  By Krsna's sweet mercy, the deco crew needed some extra help and Bala Nitai volunteered me.  We set up the scene in front of the altar--Krsna, Radha & all the gopis...we were up till midnight, but everything felt quite normal considering what we're usually doing with deco in Portland :)
I am truly grateful for the experience and it was wonderful to work with Mother Saci, the head decorator in Mayapur.

May Sri Pancha Tattva, Sri Sri Radha Madhava & Sri Nrsimhadeva bless all of you!

This is ecstatic....Rasa Purnima is indeed a wonderful festival and you're blessed to be doing service in Mayapur dhaam for the festival. Thanks a lot for keeping us in your prayers.
